COME HOME TO OHIO
It's December. November scooted on by without me getting a chance to say anything about Shop Sounds or Car Crushes. This is about the time some folks countdown their favorite albums of the year. Since my musical diet has mostly been tunes from yesteryear, I've nothing to offer on that front.
Nor am I one to get into the Christmas music spirit early. I usually just wait around for the ghost of Phil Spector's Christmas past to arrive the week of. So until I stub my toe into the wall of holiday sound, it will mostly be a heavy rotation of The Lovin' Spoonful radio station.
Don't worry your weird little heads. I've compiled for you a suitable seasonal list, and it's festively Ohio. What can I say? It's my home state, and you should always come home for the holidays. After all, your friends and family miss you terribly while your away (ahem..come home friends!). The playlist features artists from all around the great state and couple that aren't – however, we gladly induct them into our fold. Everyone from Ohio will tell you that we make the best people in the midwest. Of course, we are partial. Yet the decision remains with you. Take a listen to the assembly and pass your own judgments.
Let's get it started – Find the playlist here*
